St. Patricks Day

I know... I know... St. Patricks Day was forever ago, but I want to be able to look back next year and see pictures from what we did!

My adorable friend Tessa is pregnant, so I went to her baby shower. It was so fun. Her baby is going to be extremely well dressed! Isn't she the cutest pregnant lady ever?! I am so excited for her and her husband!

Later that night Tyler and I made rainbow sherbet drinks (St. Patricks Day... rainbows... etc... get it??). I had a picture-- but apparently I am struggling because I just deleted it off my blog!

Trip to Colorado

My BFF moved to Colorado and I finally got to visit her! It was so much fun to catch up with her and see her new city!

Highlights Included:

Volunteering at her Christmas Kids Work party

Camp Fire!

We had a fun Friday night up Big Cottonwood Canyon! We got together with some friends and their families and roasted hot dogs and made s'mores! It was a fun get together-it is hard to get everyone together at the same time!

It was a blast. I have not been to the circus in forever. Our favorite acts were probably the motorcyclists in the sphere and anything that involved flying and jumping through the air in sparkly costumes. Most unimpressive act-- the tigers.

All My 11 Year Old Wishes Have Come True

My bff and I were able to see Hanson last night, and they were AMAZING. Seriously. I loved them when I was 11- who didn't love MMMbop?! I fell in love with them again when I was 16 and have loved them ever since. Their latest cd is the bomb-- Shout It Out. I highly reccomend it.

The opening act was A Rocket to the Moon. They were also amazing. Listen to this song. I knew one of their songs and recognized a few others. I am getting their cd. The opening act before that was alright until they brought up their special guest who wanted to be Eminem from 1999. Unfortunatley he is about 11 years too late.

I knew almost every song- and LOVED every single song. They sang some of their old songs too- so needless to say it was a PERFECT evening. It was a fabulous way to end a wonderful visit with my bff.

The Countdown Is On.

Okay- the countdown has totally been on since you bought your ticket. I am so excited.

ELAINE will be here in 8 days. I repeat. 8 days. I tell anyone who will listen that she is on her way!

I LOVE this girl. She is my best friend. I feel like I have not seen her in ages. I am beyond thrilled that she is coming to spend some time with me!

Night before I left for college {over 5 years ago}. She is so sweet to take pics with me even when my eyes dissappear.

Happy 10 Year Anniversary!

Who am I celebrating a 10 year anniversary with?! Elaine. My BFF.

We met 10 years ago- when we were 13 years old and in 8th grade. I can't remember if we "officially" met the 1st or 2nd day of school. After we met we were pretty much best friends. I feel so blessed to have her in my life. We were seriously made to be best friends. We have had our ups and downs- but thankfully far more ups than downs. She is my best friend. She is the "best friend" that is so comfortable- I sing in the car with her, dance in front of her, tell my stories with no points to her, can be 100% honest with her. We have had so many fun memories- and I know we are going to have more in the years to come!

Spoiled.

I feel so spoiled.

This lovely young woman has graced me with her presence 4 different weekends in the past 5 weeks. We never run out of things to say. We are constantly laughing. Even when we are doing nothing. She is so sweet and fun. We have a billion inside jokes that can make us laugh at any given moment.

That's how much frosting Mrs. Fields Cookie Factory goes through each year. (That is only for internet and catalog orders!) The factory tour was fun- however it was no Jell Belly tour.

Today was my first day off that I have actually spent in Salt Lake. It has been fun...

I had one of the funnest nights last Friday! My little sister in Alpha Phi Kady and her parents treated me to dinner down in St. George and we ate at 25 Main. It is the cutest cafe. Plus they have cupcakes. Look at me and the cupcake schedule! I can't wait to take my family there this summer!!

My First Jazz Game.

124-115 win.

I told a friend that I went to the Jazz game last night and they asked if any boys were involved, I told them "no". They were so suprised and then told me they were so proud of me for going to a sporting function on my own. Believe it or not I do like basketball! {Playing no, watching yes}

Things I noticed during the game:

• Kyle Korver is hot {already knew that but re-confirmed}
• Basketball may be the only sport I actually understand
• The Jazz dancers have about 10 uniform changes in 1 game
• A lot of NBA teams have purple as one of their colors

I'm just going to say it now- I hate the length of my hair. I had to cut it this length to even all the layers out so that I can grow it out... {remind me next time I chop my hair off that I will hate it when I grow it out again}. Luckily my hair grows pretty fast.
