My Brain

Does your brain ever just go on this rapid fire of thoughts and you have to tell yourself to "calm it down"? {My creative writing teacher called it stream of consciousness. I just call it ADD on a Friday afternoon.} I am having that right now. Holy cow. Seriously.

The Countdown Is On.

Okay- the countdown has totally been on since you bought your ticket. I am so excited.

ELAINE will be here in 8 days. I repeat. 8 days. I tell anyone who will listen that she is on her way!

I LOVE this girl. She is my best friend. I feel like I have not seen her in ages. I am beyond thrilled that she is coming to spend some time with me!

Night before I left for college {over 5 years ago}. She is so sweet to take pics with me even when my eyes dissappear.

80% Of The Time

Tyler and I have excellent communication skills. Well, Tyler has excellent communication skills and I am catching up quickly! We are almost always on the same page and when we aren't we figure it out. Last night I got off of work kind of late, and he was out doing something, and we were planning on getting together after we were both home. I thought he was coming over, and through some vague texting he thought I was coming to his house. 20 minutes later I texted him, "where are you?" and he replied, "watching tv, where are you?" {I was also watching tv- in my own apartment}. I guess that is what you get for texting. Haha. This has honestly been our biggest miscommunication- I guess that is pretty good!

I have the best boyfriend ever. Seriously. He took my car to the Hyundai dealership to get it all fixed on his afternoon off.

My mom always jokes and says, "80% of the time we truly fail to communicate". She may have a point!

Ranchin' It Up

Tyler, his sister, and I went to Tabiona for Labor Day weekend. His family has some property up there so we were able to get away for the long weekend! It was gorgeous weather, and everything was so beautiful.

I heard Mindy Gledhill perform at SPARK over the weekend- and fell in love with her music! My mom bought me both of her cds and I LOVE every single song. I told Tyler that the cd Anchor is like the soundtrack to our relationship.
