VIP status. Sort of.

I was able to go to a really cool open house that the Salt Palace hosted... it was seriously amazing. It was hosted for the Meeting Planners International Annual Convention! It included an Open Bar- okay I think it was open... my drinks were free. I took my friend Mandie as my date... we got to hear Macy Gray and the comedian who I am completely blankng on right now.

Skipper Shoes

I love Barbie. Seriously- how can you not love someone who does everything, including; being a US Army Officer in Desert Storm, Doctor, Vet, and Spanish, Sign Language, and Elementary school teacher, and does it all in heels?! {Thank you wikipedia.} I guess I am more like her sister Skipper who does everything in flat shoes. I remember her having a lot of pink flat shoes, so I call these my Skipper shoes!

Bear Lake

My friend Mandie invited me to Bear Lake with her on the 4th of July! I had never been to Bear Lake before- {well not that I remember anyways}! I was warned by multiple people to wear tons of sunscreen... the sun must be different there! So I wore lots of sunscreen and the only part of me to burn were the tops of my feet and the part in my hair! I am impressed. {Mom you would be too!}

Team work on the boondoggle

Please note my sunglasses. They are I-Carly sunglasses {$5 @ Wal-Mart}. It was either these or Dora the Explorer or $20 for adult sunglasses. I opted for I-Carly because 1) they are pink and 2)I-Carly is at least a human character on tv. Is it sad that I had seen I-Carly on Nickalodeon?


I also was able to see my family up north!! Thank you G'pa Byron and Cheryl, Regan, Vanessa, and Nonnie for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon and late Saturday night!! It was great to spend time with my Grandpa and Grandma Janes too!!
