We Heart The Zoo

The zoo is the best. We lucked out- great weather, no crowds-it was perfect!

Neil Patrick Harris is hosting Regis and Kelly this morning. I have adored him ever since Doogie Howser. Adorable. He was a little creepy looking when he was in Cabaret- but he is back on track again! Why am I blogging about television shows? I took my first sick day today. I really am sick- call and listen to my voice. Booooo.

6. I can't wait for my family to be out here in JULY

8. I love the public library- who knew there were so many books?

The Alchemist.

I read the book, The Alchemist. I LOVED it. I had not heard about it until my Aunt Cristin left it with me. There were so many quotable quotes throughout the book! I was constantly writing things down- I felt like I was in English class again!

Here were a few of my favorites:

"The secret is here in the present. If you pay attentuoin to the present, you can improve on it and if you improve on the present, what comes later will also be better. I loved this book. It is one of the best books I have read in a very long time. I think it changed my life.

My Weekend.

I had a wonderful weekend.

I got to meet this little guy. Isn't he the cutest thing ever?! I realized that I am going to be the "old cousin" considering when he is 16 I will be 39. Crazy, huh? I can't wait to see him in his plaid shorts ensemble. He's going to be a stud.

The Jazz lost. Boo. {I have become a Jazz fan!}

I got to see both of my grandmothers on Mothers Day. It was fun to spend time with each of them. I miss my own little family on these weekends but feel so blessed to have family out here in Utah.

Spoiled.

I feel so spoiled.

This lovely young woman has graced me with her presence 4 different weekends in the past 5 weeks. We never run out of things to say. We are constantly laughing. Even when we are doing nothing. She is so sweet and fun. We have a billion inside jokes that can make us laugh at any given moment.

Mandies Wedding

I survived my first expeience as a bridesmaid!! Mandie made a beautiful bride. I am so excited for her and her husband.

Even though Mandie getting married is exciting and fun it still weirds me out that she is all married and what not! It makes me happy to know that when I get married she will be able to be there in the Temple with me.
